The Bennett & Dykes sale includes a good private collection of jewellery and jade, which is the property of a lady, and includes a gorgeous multi gem set giardiniere style bracelet, along with good pearls and corals.
Other properties include some great 1960s and 1970s pieces signed by English designers, notably Andrew Grima and Charles de Temple.
The Antiquities section includes a splendid group of Classical and Near Eastern objects from the collection of Gabriele and Wolfgang Leiner, German authors known for their collaborative works on cultural and historical topics, mostly collected in the mid 20th century and extensively documented.
Other properties include interesting groups of ancient and later Near Eastern jewellery, sculpture and textiles, and fascinating pre columbian artefacts.
